Every Friday afternoon, Ola explores how groups (ranging from an underground fandom all the way to digital activist movements!) are shaping the future of both politics and popular culture.

This programme is all about giving a voice to those who aren’t always in the spotlight, but are making a real difference in their communities and beyond. A light and casual show, Ola uncovers the stories and movements flying under the mainstream radar, shining a light on local activism, underground art scenes, grassroots movements, subcultures and fringe movements, as well as everyday people quietly having a large influence on the direction of society, politics or even pop culture.
